This CDROM contains some very useful material for those who have
some concern for handicapped persons, particularly mobility-impaired 
persons.  It will give you clear and simple instructions, explanatory 
diagrams and sketches, and dimensions. This is an off-line version 
of the original files kept on the w-w-web at:

This document is based on two famous standards ::

* Swiss Standard SN 521 500
* "Americans with disabilites" Act.

To use this CDROM, 

* visit http://drpartha.org.in/publications/accessibility.zip
* download accessibilty.zip to xxxx (where xxxx is the actual directory which
you choose for the download).
* unzip the downloaded file
* check that the unzipped version tallies with the statistics given below
* start your favourite web browser, and open the file: xxxx/CDROM/start.htm, and follow 
  the hyperlinks (or you can go to the specific file you want, directly, if 
  you know the file path and the file name)

Many of the links on this CDROM will work only when you are
connected on-line to the w-w-web. This CDROM was made on a computer
running Linux.

It is most convenient to start from the start.htm page and follow the hyperlinks.

The entire CDROM is distributed under a liberal license : CC-BY-SA 
(Creative Commons, by attribution, share-alike)
